The collection is dedicated to people lost in the city of neon lights, those who are trying to find themselves through the Internet and are completely immersed in a digital world filled with Buddhist and Tibetan deities.
Traditional Tibetan clothes of the inhabitants of the mountains flow into the city streets mixing with modern street fashion.
The deities of Tibetan Buddhism and the religion of Bon now live not only in the temples and on the “Tanka” (religious images in Buddhism), they moved to the Internet, were transformed into a digital format, and knowledge and mentions of them became more accessible and extensive.
The collection was presented in the «look into the future» competition for young designers as a part of Ukrainian Fashion Week, where it won the grand prize from Pepsi and got the opportunity to organize creative space within the framework of Ukrainian Fashion Week.
The name of the collection, «Digital Gods» is an allegory to the fact that the gods are very comfortable on the web and have become even closer to people than before.
The deities, dragons, and tigers in the created prints have been transformed by the Glitch effect, which appears on a monitor when a critical system error distorts the image. This transformation has made them more modern, yet the element of mysticism remains intact.
In creating this collection, only non-animal materials were used. This ensures that all items have pure karma, allowing their future owners to maintain purity of consciousness and peace of mind.
