Many of my ideas come to me during the night, blurring the lines between the astral world and reality. This collection, aptly named "Nightmares," isn't about fear but rather the darker sensations of danger and thrill. These illustrations are united by common themes, often originating from vivid dreams.

  • The second illustration is based on an erotic dream.
  • Another illustration stems from a particularly lengthy dream.
  • An illustration created throughout a dream lasting 100 years.
  • This illustration was inspired by my readings on Gnosticism.

One of my favorite illustrations.
The idea arose before the war, in December 2021.
In that time I read a lot about Gnosticism and thought deeply about the concept of God and how religion helps build society.
The first sketch was made in watercolor, then I created 3-4 more different sketches on my iPad. But I have a feeling that this is not the end.

In April 2023, I had a dream: I found myself standing in a dark room, surrounded by monsters with long claws and sharp teeth, whispering about how they would devour me.

Calmly, I listened to their menacing whispers and looked at my hands, where long, knife-sharp claws began to grow. I transformed into a creature more terrifying than any of them. Without a trace of fear, I tore the monsters apart, their bodies and heads falling before me.

This was the first nightmare I had after escaping the war in Ukraine, and in it, I felt no fear.
